DATA and enthusiast, why not love to be a data analyst or a data scientist? 🔗
For many years, I have been trapped in the big data and data scientist hype. I was working in the field as a specialist or expert, without being named a data scientist. I preferred to rather call myself a data analytics professional, as I felt to overwhelmed by the whole discussion and sometimes unaware by the value I bring at the table.
Now everyone talks about AI and I have a job called data scientist.
The thing is that now I know that being a DATA enthusiast is far more valuable than being named in a way or another. The beauty of doing what you like for the most time you’re working is far more valuable than a name.
So, why I love to be a DATA enthusiast? 🔗
It feels like enthusiasm is the oil that you need to put the DATA at work.
You need to continuously ask your DATA and to maintain that fire of asking questions without losing the context.
Questions are sometimes hard to be asked and in some moments even harder to be answered.
And the beauty of being enthusiastic about DATA is the zeal of trying new tools, new methods, new ways of handling real-life issues.
